Hello Drupal updated!

I've just posted an update to Hello Drupal, based on feedback from participants and partners. I just tested this on Friday, and it worked much better.

If you do use Hello Drupal, please put your event on the listing page (see bottom of http://training.acquia.com/hellodrupal ) And reply back to us about how many people participated. It's really helpful to know how you're using it and that you do find it useful.

Drupal help required in Frankfurt Stadtmitte

Hallo,

I'm looking for someone to teach me Drupal for around 1 hour per week, probably at weekends. I'm trying to make a little site myself with a blog, and am finding it really hard. Nothing too complex required, I don't think, just someone to help explain things and answer questions :) It would be great to meet in Frankfurt at one of the cafes with free wifi... I'd pay around 10-15 €/hour... can't afford too much, I'm afraid! I have free hosting and a domain set up. English preferred, but German also possible (I'm at intermediate level).

Designing a 'Git 101' class

Hello Git Migration Team.
I am interested in sharing plans to teach Git.

In the beginning of July, I will be teaching a Git class to students participating in a summer Drupal learning project.

This is my plan for preparing the class:
1. Personally get more up to speed with Git. I use Git already, but want to read both Git books (the O'reilly one & also the Apress book) Both are mentioned on the Drupal Git resources handbook page.

I’ve been using Drupal for my classes as its flexibility supports my more constructivist approach to teaching. As one of my students wrote:
