Hi guys, first time posting here after using these forums for several years with great success. I have been building Drupal sites for a couple years now, and performance has always just been okay for me. The most recent site I am working on seems to be slower to load than most. I am looking for advice on how to make this site load faster. It is not a huge and overly complex site, doesn't seem like it should be this slow.

It is the latest Drupal install, and all up to date modules. There are about 50 modules, if it helps to provide a list of those I can.

I am an Australian Developer just moved here for www.emergingstars.com. The site was on WordPress, I transferred it to Drupal and made it amazing with all Drupal coolness(8 custom modules in total). The stunning thing is I can't believe I transferred almost 56,000 plain WordPress posts into Drupal content types with Taxonomies and Language stuff, that tells us what drupal is capable of.

For the Drupalars, I was wondering if someone from the Group can guide me for my "little" business www.eshockit.com. I have general networking queries only.

So, I'm a Drupal n00b and I'm trying to display some data from an external MySQL database in a View. I found a Module called Data that says it can do what I want, however, there is no documentation and I have NO idea where to begin with it.

Do any of you guys/gals have experience with this module?

I could really appreciate some pointers.

I am looking to hire an independent contractor to help me with security updates to a few Drupal sites. Had a question. I am new to feeds module and am trying to import an rss feed into drupal.
I can import but am only getting the title. I am looking to import custom files but done find them listed when I do mappings.

Is there a way I can parse out the data from the import and assign it to specific content types.

When I create the feed importer, I am using the Common parser.

Our new church website is 85% ready to go live. Our Drupal developer finished the initial development and has left us in the troubleshooting stage. Since he has decided to move on and not complete the project, we are in big trouble. None of us are Drupal programmers. I am the designer. I know a moderate amount of Joomla, Wordpress, Magento and Expression Engine but I am not fluent in Drupal. In order to create a plan to move forward, we need someone to analyze the state of the development.

Estoy escribiendo porque al final de la DrupalCon me voy a cambiar Londres por Barcelona por razones personales.

Voy a seguir trabajando con Drupal pero en régimen autónomo, con clientes internacionales.

Me gustaría saber si hay alguna web que pueda mirar para saber que hacer y como hacer para regularizarme como autónomo. Siendo Portugués, no tendré problemas con vistos y empadronamiento.

Aparte del estatuto hay algo más que tenga que saber? Seré pago en libras - hay alguna formula bancaria ventajosa?

As an avid twitterer for some years with a good following I want to explore a specific opportunity.

I am interested in having a Drupal website that revolves around recieving posts from a very specific number of twitter people who I already follow and I expect they follow me too. As you can see it is not about organising my posts in any way. This is something that i would like to see this available on mobiles too.
