How to kill handbook comments
Just had a bit of a lightbulb moment (and maybe this idea has come up before?) about how to eventually kill comments on handbook pages. Someone asked how we could make sure conversations about a particular page were still visible if they were happening in the issue queue instead of as comments.
I thought, and this is what seemed like a good idea:
- add a field on the issue node-add form for a referenced d.o NID (to reference the handbook page the issue is about)
- build a view block for the handbook pages that displays any issues related to the page
Ta-da?

Recently I took on the task of reorganizing and streamlining this group site, with the goal of making it much easier for new and existing volunteers to continue with the drupal.org redesign implementation. There is information on the group site that isn't up-to-date or 100% clear yet, but I think we are fairly close with reorganizing these g.d.o pages. Here are my main changes, and I'd love your feedback.
What information would you need in order to help with the redesign implementation? Please add your comments below.

Hey drupalers,
I would like to propose a new feature for the redesign of the d.o forum.
Wouldn't it be nice if the author of a forum topic can give the topic a resolved or closed status?
This way it's easier to see what topics need more help.
A proposal for some topic statuses:
- open
- closed (resolved)
- closed (unsolved) -> when a topic is open and has not been replied within a month for example or if the author sets it t manually to unsolved.
Maybe you know experts-exchange.com? This is a commercial forum that also works with open and closed questions.

Hi All,
Today is the second in our scheduled dates to ask you for your feedback (if you haven't done so already). This week the focus is on the top level information architecture.
- Top Level IA:
Leisa continues her incredible work trying to understand the community's needs and desires for the IA and how to incorporate this for 'insiders' and 'outsiders'.
As with previous weeks; Leisa is still openly blogging about her research, but we still need and welcome your feedback. The relevant research for the IA can be found at the following:
