I am a new user to Drupal, and have spent a few days acquainting myself with the interface, terms, modules, and other various techniques related to using Drupal. I am also currently reading through two Drupal 7 specific books. Now, to business...

For the first Code Craft, let's talk about one of the first things that our game needs to do: turn our user into a player. This not only involves initializing our user into our game world (giving them the unique statistics, objects, or metadata necessary for them to play), but also ensuring they're always "up-to-date", even after we've released new game content that might come with additional statistics or objects.

Recently I took on the task of reorganizing and streamlining this group site, with the goal of making it much easier for new and existing volunteers to continue with the drupal.org redesign implementation. There is information on the group site that isn't up-to-date or 100% clear yet, but I think we are fairly close with reorganizing these g.d.o pages. Here are my main changes, and I'd love your feedback.
