First Ever DrupalCamp Phoenix
We've finally put together a DrupalCamp in Phoenix! It's Saturday, November 6, which will be a great time to sneak out of the cold of late fall and into sunny Arizona.
The site is up and working, though we're still looking for presenters and presentation ideas. If you're interested, head to the forums on the site.
The cost is $10 per person, though there is a $4 early bird discount until midnight tonight. (Sorry for the late notice.) The price of admission includes lunch, but you'll have to pay your own parking.

Drupalcamp Atlanta 2010 Registration is Open!
Drupalcamp Atlanta 2010 (www.drupalcampatlanta.com) is now open for registration, and will be held on Saturday, October 2nd from 8am – 5pm at the Georgia Tech Research Institute. Our mission and purpose is twofold: (1.) we want to educate people about Drupal and (2.) further evangelize Drupal within our geographic region. The 2nd annual Drupalcamp Atlanta is an attendee driven, completely volunteer initiative modeled after the open, participatory nature of barcamps.

Officially announced, DrupalCamp Lagos 2010 is open and FREE to everyone. It's going to be a full day event of Drupal Learning, Open Source training and community networking.
To re-emphasize, the DrupalCamp Lagos 2010 is FREE for all. You will have access to all DrupalCamp Lagos sessions, mini-groups, personal project support, lunch & breakfast and other giveaways that accompanies the event.

Promo code, flyers and books from Wiley for support of Drupalcamps
During Drupalcon there was a DRU10 promotion code created by Wiley Publishing to help promote sales of their Drupal book. They've now extended that promo code to go through the end of August so that we can use the promo code to promote books at camp events. They are also able to send out some flyers with the coupon code and perhaps a few books.
