I am working on a site where I will use the content profile to let members create a node based profile.

I have been trying to find a module to handle an associated gallery for each profile, where the member can upload images to their own gallery. The closest I have fond so far seems to be Node Gallery, but it is still in alpha only.

I have also looked at Node Images, but since that is not storing images as nodes using a workflow will be more or less impossible.

All started when I thought "hmm, let´s add a new feature to my site when I upgrade it to Drupal 6.x... image galleries for me and my users aswell".

I know it can be done, but I'm looking for the best way to achieve image galleries based on locations. Say I have 20 offices and I want a photo gallery for each office. Each office should be able to login and add photos only to their gallery. Each office's location should be visible on a map and have location info, and office details attached to it.

I have to give each office a unique login to manage their photos. Also, I would like to be able to see "All offices in CA" or "All offices in Zip Code 90210"

What's the best way to do this?

like everybody here, I'm working on the "next big thing" :) ... probably it will never go online, it's just for my diploma.

Anyway, the site is supposed to be a networking site for students studying abroad. Signing up, I have to choose a city (where I will go to). As a member, I have access to this public "city area" (let's say "everybody's Barcelona"), where people can share their knowledge etc. And there's got to be a private area (like "my very own Barcelona"), where every user can have his own blog, calendar, gallery, ...

The new module Imageflow looks quite interesting. I'm not sure how exactly to use it on my own site, but it looks cool.

Como ya comenté días atrás estoy finalizando la traducción del módulo Gallery en su versión 5.x.2.x ya definitiva liberada por su autor hace pocos días.

Para realizar dicha traducción uso el programa poEdit v.1.3.7 bajo Windows XP. Al crear un nuevo catálogo desde un fichero .pot me aparecen bastantes errores del tipo:

ref.pot:24: internationalized messages should not contain the `\r' escape sequence

En el fichero de .pot hay entradas de la forma:

Estoy finalizando la traducción a Español de la nueva versión del módulo Gallery, la 5.x.2.x que estará disponible -según el autor- en breve. Dicho módulo se encarga de comunicar Drupal con el software de gestión de Imágenes Gallery2 de Menalto.

Hi guys,

I have been looking through the list of modules many times over, I have found so many modules that can do media, gallery, image ... it is really puzzling.

I read the documentation for most of them, look at examples, read posts ... still I am not close to make a clear and informed decision.

So I am very curious to know what you are using for your photo gallery?

Rob & I created a full flash solution in conjunction with Drupal as the backend.
We thought it would be cool to share this with you guys.

The application is fully flash and includes a photogallery & videogallery.
You could use it to start your online media broadcasting system alongside catchy graphics.
