The Monthly Twin Cities Drupal User Group is upon us this Wednesday at 7PM at Advantage Labs.
I had suggested in the last meeting that everyone bring a small project or idea or whatever to present. Basically a 5 minute presentation/discussion on something you found interesting in Drupal recently. It doesn't need to be the cure for Drupal; it can be anything.
So, ideally you would be prepared to just hook your laptop up to the projector (VGA) and we can go around the room. No worries, if you don't have laptop; you can just talk about something you find exciting. The idea is to get everyone talking about something they find interesting.
Feel free to go another route in the format, just throwing something up there since its coming up this week. I am still not sure if I will be able to attend this month.

Wanted to make the announcement formal - we will be having our first TCUbercart event on Wednesday, July 15, 7-9pm.
Our first meeting will focus on what we want to do, is this a good day or place, etc. Let's get together and brainstorm, share and hopefully help all of us!
At this meeting, time permitting, I would like to start a roundtable discussion on ubercart topics -- I can begin with some of my own questions that I had with my very first cart (it went live last week)--A couple of items off the top of my head:

TC Ubercart Group startup
Hi there!
I've mentioned this before - and had some responders and after a discussion at last nights TCDrupal Group meeting - I am going to just start this group -- Sharing all our experiences and knowledge has to be the best way to learn.
I'm looking at the 3rd Wednesday of the month, starting in July 22 -- 7pm-9pm, and Advantage Labs is very graciously said they would host it at their offices -

It's about time the local drupalchix got together.
We'll be eating chocolate cake.
I'm proposing meeting at the Seward Pizza Luce because I think their cake is particularly great. Also, they have tiramisu. What more do you need? (Oh, right, wireless. I'm not sure about that.)
Anyways, besides chocolate cake - the few few few women who do Drupal in the Twin Cities should get together. Aside from just getting together to learn more about ourselves professionally, it might be nice to talk about doing things that would support ourselves as women who work in open source.
