Welcome to VANDUG!
The Vancouver Drupal Users Group (VanDUG) is the local meeting place for Greater Vancouver people interested in Drupal. We were formerly known as the Vancouver League of Drupalers, but that's a long story.
The group mostly hangs out on Slack at https://vandug.slack.com/. We also post our meetings on Meetup.com at https://www.meetup.com/Vancouver-Drupal-Users-Group. All are welcome, it's listed as a private group to keep out the griefers.
We've been holding semi-regular virtual meetings during COVID-19.

Read moreDrupal for a Community of Practice
One of my clients is wanting to find a platform to build a community of practice for professional development. I am really wanting to get into a comprehensive discussion regarding the use of Drupal as the platform to facilitate the growth of such an educational environment. Could anyone point me toward user groups, websites, drupal resources on this subject. I have found the following title; and believe there should be many good sites discussing this subject.

Read moreFormatting Newsletters in Blue Zinfandel 6.0
Hi everyone,
I'm really new to this and have had a lot of help setting up a site for a project I run out of the Pacific Cinematheque. I've been having a really hard time sending out my first newsletter. I've spent hours working on formatting it and then I send out a test and it arrives full of html code, with no formatting, and no photos.
I've checked the most obvious settings, like making sure it's set to html rather then plain text- but I don't know enough about the program to dig any deeper.
Any suggestions?

Read moreNeed recipe for Events Calendar for Acquia Drupal 6.8
I'm setting up a website with Acquia Drupal for a non-profit club. It needs an Events Calendar. The latest release of Acquia Drupal uses Drupal 6.8 and the latest versions of Calendar and Date modules. I followed this recipe found at:
http://drupal.org/node/326061#comment-1077193 and set up the Events Calendar. It looks OK but has a major flaw.
Not a "Job" - yet - but I'm curious...
Hi all,
I'm hoping it's OK to post this here - please someone let me know if I've committed a faux pas... It's just that I'm looking to keep this close to home, here in the Vancouver area...
I run the website for the BC Mountaineering Club (http://bcmc.ca) and it's time for us to update our website. I'm planning (and have started fiddling with) moving to a Drupal solution.
