West African Drupal Users Group (WADUG)

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.
This group should probably have more organizers. See documentation on this recommendation.

This Group is a volunteer IT support group that would enable free flow of support and exchange of ideas in the open source community of Drupal. This we hope will help those of us that have benefited so much from the community to give back to the community that has helped our work so much. Virtual events shall be organized from time to time by the group. The three core roles of West Africa Drupal Users Group (WADUG) will be
• Education
• Support
• Socializing
This group is opened to West Africans or Drupal users [or interested users] from West Africa.

My Acquia Certified Drupal Site Builder Story

I want to share my experience in taking the Acquia Certified Drupal Site Builder Exam. Few friends and colleagues have asked me to provide them with a list of materials I used to study. The truth is, I did not study using any specific material for the exam. I simply registered and wanted to use whatever knowledge of Drupal I have accumulated to take the test and see what it will look like. I passed scoring more than 90% which is fine for me. If you study, you may score 100%. This is my recommendation;

    Help with building a forum

    Hello there,

    I am building a website where I need a Forum for a community and I wanted to extend the Drupal Core Forum's functionality but as I am new to drupal i am getting very confused and so Could anyone help me??? please...

    Well I don't know if it is necessary as I have never used Core Forum before so I don't really now what it looks like, but I suppose it comes with the installation.

    The forum would need to let people who wants to post content or reply to a thread to have a registered account ie they'd need to log in. However the content will have to be visible to the public.

    [9/9/2010 2:08:12 PM] Abayomi Ayoola: and they would be glad to sponsor LinuxCon or LinuxFest in Nigeria
    [9/9/2010 2:08:25 PM] Kayode Odeyemi: cool
    [9/9/2010 2:08:45 PM] Kayode Odeyemi: so what's your plan
    [9/9/2010 2:31:56 PM] Abayomi Ayoola: I think they usually cover the whole event
