Learn to use the Migrate API to upgrade your Drupal 6/7 site to Drupal 8/9. Check how the automated upgrade procedure can help you get a head start in writing the migrations. You will have the opportunity to change your site’s information architecture as part of the upgrade process

With the maturity of Drupal 8 and version 9 already available, now is a great time to upgrade your site from Drupal 6 or 7. In this training, you will learn how to plan and execute successful upgrade projects.

Learn to move content into Drupal 8 and 9 using the Migrate API. An overview of the Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) pattern that migrate implements will be presented. Source, process, and destination plugins will be explained to learn how each affect the migration process. By the end of the workshop, you will have a better understanding on how the migrate ecosystem works and the thought process required to plan and perform migrations. All examples will use YAML files to configure migrations. No PHP coding required.

This training is for people who want to get a solid foundation in Drupal site building. Basic concepts will be explained and put into practice through various exercises. The objective is that someone, who might not even know about Drupal, can understand the different concepts and building blocks to create a website. A simple, fully functional website will be built throughout the day.

Decoupled Days is a software conference for architects, developers, and businesspeople involved in implementing decoupled, headless, or services-oriented architectures using content management systems.

In its fourth year after a successful debut in 2017, the 2020 edition is scheduled for July 22-23, 2020 at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City.

Join us for New Jersey’s premier conference dedicated to web professionals focusing on Drupal and related technologies. Once again, we are holding 3 days of events on the campus of Princeton University and throughout the town. Take a deep dive with a full-day training class on Thursday. Get up to speed with the latest tools and trends with a variety of sessions on Friday. Or, drop by for the mentoring and collaborations on Saturday. Spend a day or more with us. Drupal experience is not required, just a desire to share, learn and engage with others who do what you do.
