Chicago

Chicago's local community of various user groups focused on Drupal. Groups have various meetings each month in/around Chicago. In addition, be sure to join our group if interested in posting or hearing about Drupal related job opportunities in the Chicagoland area.

If new to Drupal, please attend one of our free Drupal training meetups aimed at new users who might not be ready for a normal meetup. Free training meetups take place every Global Training Day. Our original Chicago Drupal Meet Up Group (CDMUG) has meetups every few months with room for 100+ attendees with popular topics for all skill levels. The Chicago Advanced Drupal User Group (CADUG) has a meetup on the last Tuesday of each month focusing on more experienced users/topics.

If located in suburbs, check out the Fox Valley Drupal Meetup group with topics for all users. The Northwest Drupal Meetup Group is perfect for those newer to Drupal.

Everyone should also check out the Village of Oak Park Drupal User Group (VOPDUG) which focuses on mentoring with code sprints. Feel free to join us in person to hang out at any of these valuable events by reviewing all of our events in right sidebar here -->

Our Drupal community in Chicago has 1,200+ members and continues to grow strong everyday. Group environments are open – we discuss ideas, debug problems, and brainstorm current personal or client Drupal projects. View CDMUG's video presentation archive of past events. A projector will be available, free wifi, and laptops are encouraged at meeups. All skill levels are welcomed, remember business cards. Join us in real time chat sessions with local Chicago developers in IRC on Freenode in #cadug, #midcamp, #cdmug or http://cdmug.org/chat

Plus we organize our annual local DrupalCamp Chicago and regional MidCamp: Midwest Area Drupal Camp.

Backend Talent Needed ASAP

Hi Oly/Seattle and Chicago Drupal folks. I am posting this in the hopes that someone local has a bit of time and the skill to assist us.

We have a project for a major NFL fan site that has a very tight timeline and we could really use another pair of hands on the backend API integration pieces.

We have a lead developer and would very much like to add another to supplement and meet the deadline of July 24.

Please email cmcgrath@celebratedrupal.com to discuss rate and availability. Thanks!
