Drupal training in Nashville?
Does anyone know of any companies, individuals or groups offering Drupal training of any kind in the Nashville area? Tennessee? Kentucky? Southeastern US? I would like to present various training options for my employer. I am aware of the workshops that Lullabot puts on, but I would like to see if there are any options within driving distance of my day job in Nashville.
I am most interested in theming, design tweaking, and understanding the inner workings of the Drupal framework as a whole. In the future, I would like to be able to assist with module development.

Our second Drupal Atlanta meeting saw several new faces and a few missing from the previous meeting. We've added a couple of Drupal developers with extensive coding experience, so that bodes well for the future.
Our first presentation was Installing Drupal 5.1 and it seemed to generate a lot of interest, even from some of the more experienced developers.
We agreed to the following procedural matters:
- Until further notice, meetings will be held on the third Tuesday of each month at the 5Seasons. So, the next meeting will take place on April 17 at 7:30p.
- A steering committee of 3-4 will hash out some of the more mundane procedural matters and present them to the group at future meetings for a vote.
- Meetings will consist of a short procedural session, followed by two presentations: one for beginners, and one for intermediate/advanced Drupal users. In this way, we hope to meet the needs of all members.
- Next month's presentations include:
- Drupal 101: What do you do when faced with a blank canvas after installation? We'll cover frontpage design, taxonomy, Drupal specific terms, and optional modules.
- Organic Groups: We'll cover one of the most popular modules for Drupal--organic groups, and how it allows you to set up different areas within your Drupal website for specific groups. (much like the groups.drupal.org site)
We hope to see you there!

USSF coming to Atlanta- local representatives for the tech team?
Hi all, I'm decidedly not in Atlanta, but I'll be coming to Atlanta for the United States Social Forum– a regional edition of the World Social Forum just held in Nairobi, Kenya, and that started in Porto Alegre, Brazil, as a counterweight to the elite invite-only World Economic Forum.
The USSF site is being developed in Drupal by volunteers around the country, especially NYC (I'm in Boston but haven't helped much).

In attendance were DrupalLancer, zoon_unit, and mal.
1) We spent most of the time getting to know one another and understanding one another's interest in Drupal. With just the three of us, there was great Synergy. Enough to keep us busy sharing and collaborating for some time to come. I expect when we get the full group together next month, the value and potential of the meeting will grow exponentially.

Lets Get Organized
Hello Drupalites;
My name is Mal. I am the organizer of this Drupal Atlanta group.
It appears we have accumulated a small core group of interested parties. We should perhaps get things started. I have no preconcieved notions about this group's purpose or mode of operation. We can figure it out together.
I'd targeted a first meeting in February. But in order to do that I need to get an idea of where everyone lives to help determine the location of the first meeting. Also, some general commentary about your schedules, and would be helpful.
