We love Drupal and its community so we want to introduce it to as many new people as possible; therefore, we're offering a full day's, professionally taught course for Drupal beginners at no extra cost. I think this is rare for a camp.
I know many of you are already familiar with Drupal, but why not forward this to a friend who's new to Drupal or wants to get started in web development/design/site building?

Some of the changes in the web site are having unforeseen consequences. With the change in background color we now have a ghost rectangle floating across the site.

I talked to the ETC today. They have an eventbrite account and will make a copy of our current eventbrite page in their account. Then, we can link to their account instead of Dan's. Also, their fee for handling all of the finances will be 10% of all revenues. I told them I would check with the other organizers before this was officially approved. We were contacted by the organizers of php[world] a conference being help Washington, DC - November 10-14, 2014. They're concerned about the scheduling conflict. From the feedback I've gotten back from the Baltimore regulars and looking closer at the event the consensus is to stick with our date and in true Drupal/Open-Sorcey spirit help promote the php event.
php[world] has some great speakers lined up and will be great for Drupal peeps who are looking to expand there knowledge into all things Php.
