I found out today that the local "Web Technology Meetup" has a speaker (whom I'm not acquainted with) speaking on Drupal at their next meeting. September 13, 2007 is the date.

I've recently learned of a 3rd Drupaller in my area so it seems now would be an appropriate time to put together a Drupal User Group for southwestern Idaho. (When it was just two, it didn't make sense to organize meetings since I sit across the room from the other guy!)
Dries (Drupal's project lead) recently made a post to Drupal.org seeking for info about best practices for local user groups. A number of folks have posted comments there. Perhaps that would be a good place for us to start, in considering what we want this group to do/be.
