We use the offices of Code Journeymen LLC for our meetups. Room for 20+ Drupalers.
You can park around the building.
Go to the archway on the right hand side of the building, and go down the steps. The door for Code Journeymen is right at the bottom. Come on in and say "Hi".

I've signed up for Drupal Camp Nashville (http://drupalcampnashville.com).
I'm going up Friday afternoon, and will be going to the Baseball game.
I'm also attending the comedy show afterwards.
So I'll be staying over Friday and Saturday nights. (Not arranged a motel yet)
I have a big minivan (I'm a family man - what can I say), so if anyone wants to share a ride I'd be more than happy to take you too - especially with gas getting to $4/gallon.
Right now I have 2 'maybes' in the car, with space for 5 in total (so 3 spaces more if the maybes accept).
Chattanooga Drupal Meetup This Tuesday Night 4/12/2011

This months Drupal meet, is tomorrow at Covenant College as usual.
We have a couple of guys coming from Nashville to meet us. they are also pushing Drupal Camp NashVille When is the 30th of this month.
I'll be going.
I figured, we'd start with a discussion of what topics we want covered with these sessions to get everyone up to speed fast.
I can do a quick rundown of our entry into 48 Hour Launch this past weekend.
1st Ever Tri-Cities Tennessee Drupal Meeting
Northeast State has given us permission to have a meeting over at the library in room 226 on April 8, starting at 6:30pm. The meeting is a workshop on using the Drupal CMS.
I would like to extend an invitation to anyone that may want to know more about Drupal.
Things that will be discussed during the meetings:
- how to install Drupal
- how to use Drupal
- how to build themes
- how to add modules
- how to build modules
What this meeting is:
- a place to learn about Drupal
- 100% free
- a place to become part of the Drupal community

I'm currently working on a Groupon clone and an ecommerce site in Drupal. I'd be happy to give a quick "state-of-the-union" for those 2 projects.

Chattanooga Drupal Meetup March 2011
The next Drupal Meetup will be on 15th March 2011. (This is the 3rd Tuesday instead of the 2nd because of Spring Break. It will go back to 2nd Tuesday of each month next month).

Covenant College is located at the top of Lookout Mountain, GA. Technically in GA, Covenant is just a 15 minute drive from Downtown Chattanooga.
The meeting will be hosted in Mills 160.
Future Meetups
I have now started a full time job, which is why I haven't been quite as active lately here on groups.drupal.org. As I've mentioned in earlier posts, I'd really like to see a "team effort" in these meetups, so that one person doesn't plan it all. I've also found that I have a lot less time on my hands, between my new full time job, and recent work that I've gotten through Smooth Stone Services.

I think Covenant college is an excellent venue for the drupal meetup.
They kindly give us the room and use of a big projector, and we have space to grow into if we need it.
Also I think half the Chattanooga Drupal group are currently at Covenant College anyway, so it's much easier for them.
It's only another 10 mins travel from the Black Snow Media offices, so it's no big deal really. If was just unfortunate that there was a dense fog last night. After you memorise the route, it's easy to get to.

Join us for our first ever Chattanooga Drupal Meetup! This event will be hosted at Covenant College, and will last up to 2 hours. This will be a perfect way to network with other Drupalers in the Chattanooga area. Drupal Camp Nashville 2011
Drupal Camp Nashville will kick-off on April 30, 2011 at 8am!
Due to a conflict with another local event, Drupal Camp Nashville 2011 has been moved out to April 30th.
We will have the camp site up within the next 2 weeks with more details. Cost is currently being determined but will be between $50-$75 dollars. We will possibly have a business focused day of training the day before the camp that will be available for those who are new to Drupal.
