Development Project for Women Win

Hey Boulder and Denver Drupal Folks,
My name is Sarah Murray and I am the director for a global nonprofit that works on girls' rights and sport. Our web platforms (guides.womenwin.org, womenwin.org, goalprogramme.org) are all built on Drupal CMS. I am looking for a local Drupal developer to help us with a few projects in Q4 2016. If you have time and are interested, please let me know. The project is basically a redesign of our existing organizational site and a replication of one of our other platforms for a project in Brazil .

Thanks!

Drupal 8 has allowed for the integration of modern workflows into the Drupal community. The transition to Twig as the templating engine specifically provides the space to integrate new patterns and tools into your frontend workflow. Pattern Lab is a static site generator that provides a structure for developing a templating and theming framework based on atomic design. The Twig version of Pattern Lab, along with the Data Transform plugin written by Aleksi Peebles, creates the possibility to integrate Pattern Lab directly into your Drupal project.

Specific Images on Specific Pages Using Taxonomy

I'm trying to put sponsor logos on specific events.

Some of the logos are in a package - so they appear on a number of the events.

Some of the logos only appear on a specific event.

Is there a way to use taxonomy and context so that the logos appear on the pages that have the same taxonomy term?

Example: Halloween event is tagged with "Large Community Event" and "Halloween." Subsequently, all logos that are tagged with EITHER "Large Community Event" OR "Halloween" automatically appear on the page.

User group meeting

Apologies for the late posting but we are still planning on having the Boulder DBUG meetup this week. This month we will be talking about getting ready for Drupal Camp this weekend. If you have a talk that you are giving this weekend and would like to promote it, this would be a great place to do it.

There will be food and beer provided and while the conversations sometimes stray off topic, they are generally pretty interesting.

Hey all, I'm trying to get a presentation together around the use of Docker and Drupal. If you've used Docker in your Drupal (or other) workflow, I'd be interested in your notes or feedback.

I'm also looking for a few other smaller presentations so, if you've recently deployed a new site, or just have some stories about a site you've deployed in the past, please hit me up on the contact form @ https://www.drupal.org/user/154069/contact.
