Goal
The goal of the Drupal Ladder initiative is to get 1% of active users on drupal.org to contribute to Drupal core by 2014 by organizing "learn sprints" and "issue sprints" at Drupal User Group meetups, camps and conferences.
Ladder
"Drupal Ladder" is the new name for this initiative. It had previously been called "Learn Drupal," but this led to a lot of confusion: many people assumed that the goal was to help new users learn how to use Drupal, though the goal is actually to get more users to contribute to Drupal.
Read moreBarcelona Drupal Developer Days: Final program is out!
It is only one month to the European Drupal event you cannot afford to miss: the Drupal Developer Days Barcelona.
We have great news for you because we finished the final program and we made up our mind (finally) about our scholarships.
Program finished
We would like to thank everybody for submitting 34 the amazing session proposals. Although we had a difficult time choosing the sessions, the great proposals made it easy to come up with a program bursting with all that is hot and happening in the Drupal universe.
Checkout the 34 sessions that made it to the final program. Besides sessions you will be able to attend sprints and of course there will be enough room for BOFs too.
We're opening the event with an Open Space activity on Friday at 4pm, find more details in here.
Scholarship program
Our scholarship program provides financial support for Drupal developers, who would otherwise not be able to attend, so that they can participate in the Drupal Developer Days.
We are very happy to announce the names of the five attendees that will receive these scholarships.
Sponsors
We like to thank our gold sponsors Node One and Omega8.cc for making this event possible.
Do like them and help us rock Barcelona by becoming sponsor of the Drupal Developer Days Barcelona. Find the details of the different sponsorship levels and the great companies that already have confirmed their support on the website.
Register now!
We have over 150 registered attendees now so there is plenty of room for more. For a modest 25 EUR entrance fee we serve you an action packed program as well as coffee & biscuits.
If you already pre-registered please sign in and complete the payment process.
If you have any questions, please use our forum, contact form or ping @drupaldaysbcn on Twitter.
