So, as it is I am new to about all things web design and this group. Most especially Drupal. I have created and maintained a very simple website for a number of years. The link to that site is www.rmdtexas.org As you all can see there is not much to this site and it is very static. Just some html, javascript, and some flash. None of these components were written by me. They were searched for on the web. I merely cut and paste the information into the website and just happened to Forrest Gump my way to getting it to work.

Always on a quest for the best way to make a good Drupal site structured.. I am one to impose limitations on the user (site editor) in order to preserve good site structure, but I have come across something that has thus far eluded me.
I am using a separate Panel per site subsection with several Panel Variants therein all based on path in order to produce a consistent site subsection navigation experience: common left menu, 2- or 3-columns within based on current page, and similar side components per page.
