Join our monthly Drupal meeting in Princeton. All community members interested in using Drupal as well as strengthening the Drupal community are invited. We'll discuss recent and exciting Drupal-related news, present interesting topics, and share knowledge. We'll start our meeting with three ten 10 to 15 minute sessions and/or one longer 30 to 40 minute presentation. Please propose a session or voice your support for a colleague's proposal using the comments section below.

Drupal is a versatile and powerful content management system. We explore its capability in our Drupal 7 Site Building workshop. We teach strategies for building sites without custom code, using Drupal core and contributed modules. We highlight the best modules for common tasks, introduce content types, users, permissions, paths, blocks, menus, themes, subthemes, text formats, views, and much more. Workshop participants are introduced to these topics through hands-on exercises.

We will have a short planning meeting for the proposed Feb 4, 2012 NJ Drupal camp prior to the upcoming meetup. This meeting is open to anyone from the NJ area who wants to actively participate in organizing the camp.

Location will be the same as the meetup, 122 Lewis Library (or in the atrium just outside it).

Our 'Drupal 7 Module Development' workshop is a crash-course in solving problems by building custom modules.

Alexandria, VA ($350)

Our workshop focuses on how to approach a problem that existing modules just do not solve. Follow along in your individual development sandbox as we show you how to put Drupal’s APIs to work. Attendees will leave our workshop with working knowledge of Drupal’s menu, form, and hook systems, as well as the database layer.

We have been meeting at the IAS, but it is likely this meetup will be held on the campus of Princeton University instead.

Drupal Fundamentls
This introductory one-day workshop touches on nearly every aspect of the core Drupal framework and covers many must-have modules. You'll learn best practices from industry professionals and create a sustainable framework for managing your content. By the end of the day, you'll have created a Drupal site that looks and functions much like any you’ll see on the web today.

Tuesday September 13, 2011 at 6:30 PM we meet at Bertha's in Fell's Point, 734 South Broadway, Baltimore, MD 21224. We'll be upstairs in the dance studio (Yes they have a dance studio). Go through the dinning room and up the stairs.

At the last meetup we decided that we're going to start holding the Philly meetups on a regular monthly basis, on the first Thursday of every month. For now I'm listing them all as being held @ Zivtech, but please feel free to suggest alternative venues if you feel so inclined. So, without further ado...

We'll be talking Drupal, eating pizza, and drinking various beverages (some alcoholic, others not) from 6-9pm at Zivtech Headquarters in Old City. The pizza and drinks will be provided by the hosts (that's us!).
