DrupalCon in Washington DC

I just saw the announcement for DrupalCon in Washington DC. I'm stoked; it's a city I have friends in, and my employer's supportive of my asking to go. Not to mention that it's only a short plane hop away.

I'd be interested in helping put together a meetup, if there's interest.

I live near DC and am pretty damn excited. We typically have a DrupalChix BoF (we've done it at the last 3 'cons) which I'm sure will get scheduled as soon as the site is up. We always talk about going out for food and drinks one night as well but I'm not sure if it has happened.

That'd be fantastic. I still haven't decided what I'll do for accommodations in DC. An old friend just got his PhD and started work for the Census Bureau; I could either stay with him or see if my employer will pick up the bill for a hotel room. Libraries aren't exactly ... profligate. :)

I have no attachment to whether or not I help organize; I go on vacation tomorrow morning and will only have sporadic net access for the next week (Hawaii > email!) so I figured I'd toss something up early so there'd be no doubt there was interest.
