A lot of discussion is going on about the D8 Usability gate and we are making progress!
Each of the usability gate specifics are being discussed/ drafted and they are posted here to solicit feedback. That being said, what is needed is to HASH them out. So, we are going to have a skype meeting on August 8, 2011 from 2 PM - 3 PM (New York - ET).
