Let's hold a first Weekend Drupal Meetup on Sunday, December 4th from 10 am to Noon at the Barnes and Noble Bookstore near West Farms Mall in Farmington. The address is 1599 SE Rd, Farmington, CT 06032.Here is a google map showing the location. The primary objective for this first meeting will be to nail down a day, time and location for future weekend meetups. We'll have a discussion and a presentation of some sort at the meetup.
- Based on the survey results, this appears to be a central location to those who expressed interest with convenient highway access.
- There were no other time suggestions other than my initial Sunday morning suggestion.
- I've asked some businesses and looked at regional libraries as meeting locations. I did not research regional schools.
- Regional libraries do not open until later in the day on Sunday. Both, the Wethersfield and Newington libraries have meeting rooms available if we wanted to meet at a quieter place in the future at a different time.
Please signup to indicate that you'll be attending so we know that those interested will be able to make this time and location. We can change things up if a different time is more convenient for those interested when we meet. Please add any comments or suggestions to this post.

Sorry, guys. I have a prior commitment. I'm playing oboe in Mozart's Mass in C minor at the Unitarian Church on Fern St in West Hartford. We have 2 "shows", so I'll be busy all morning.
Maybe I'll be available next time.

A group of us met as a first step towards a weekend Drupal meetup on Sunday, 12/4 at Barnes and Noble in the West Farms Mall area. Unfortunately, the only attendees were the regulars of the 3rd Tuesday night Drupal Meetup in Hartford. There were 4 or 5 people who spoke up about creating a weekend Meetup but the interest seems to have died???
We did discuss the idea of using a Weekend Meetup as an opportunity to put together an Introduction to Drupal series of presentations that we would rotate periodically.
