The Central Connecticut Drupal Meetup Group will be holding its next educational and interactive, face-to-face meeting on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 from 7pm to 9pm at the Wethersfield Library, 515 Silas Deane Highway, Wethersfield, CT 06109, as it continues to build and strengthen the community of Drupal developers, designers, administrators, content creators and other stakeholders in Connecticut. Come meet fellow Drupalists. Come learn what Drupal can do for you and the best practices to apply when using Drupal. Come help steer our group to become an invaluable source of information and networking opportunities. We are a passionate and fun group, enthusiastic to grow and help all those interested in Drupal - beginners, journeymen and experts - by sharing our collective knowledge, expertise, experiences and ideas.

Here is a google map centered on the library. There is plenty of free parking at the library.
You may want to bring your Connecticut library card just in case it is required for use of the library's WiFi service.

We had a great meeting
We had a great meeting tonight with our usual crowd of people. The library in Wethersfield was a great location that we are also going to be using again next month. We did have some discussions on how we can increase the attendance of the group, while having something for everyone.
In order to find a more permanent location, Mark will be scheduling meetings with 3 of the hartford area universities. Mark will be taking other group members along to meet with some of the departments at the schools to hopefully get one of them to sponsor and support the group. This will allow us to have a mostly permanent meeting space that will support the group going forward.
If there is anything anyone in the connecticut group would like to see presented, or if you would like things done differently please let us know. We'd also like some feedback on why certain people don't attend and if there is anything we could do differently to get you to attend in the future.
