When installing OpenPublish, before inputting site name, user name, etc., I got the following message for around 100 times on 1 page:
"Notice: Array to string conversion in _menu_router_build() (line 3603 of D:\wamp\www\my_site_name\includes\menu.inc)."
Followed with the forms to put in site name and other information, there was the following message:
"Uncaught exception thrown in session handler"
"Uncaught exception thrown in shutdown function"
PDOException: SQLSTATE[HY000]: General error: 2006 MySQL server has gone away: SELECT menu_name FROM {menu_links} WHERE expanded <> 0 GROUP BY menu_name; Array ( ) in _menu_set_expanded_menus() (line 3309 of D:\wamp\www\my_site_name\includes\menu.inc)."
I tried twice, and the same happened. So I input site name and other information, and the installation finished. When exploring the site, I still get alert messages now and then.
What happened, and what should I do? Thank you!
By the way, I didn't have this issue when installing Drupal 7 and many modules in the same wamp server.

Did you ever get this solved? I am having the same issue with the latest distribution of OpenPublish (7.x-1.0-beta6).
The following line appears probably over 100 times at the end of the installation, on the "Configure Site" page.
Notice: Array to string conversion in _menu_router_build() (line 3603 of /Users/Ted/Websites/drupal/includes/menu.inc).

I'm getting same error with openpublish-7.x-1.0-beta6-core on Windows (IIS 7.5) with PHP 5.4.0.0

This error repeats in multiple lines, i have observed this in OpenPublish As well as OpenPublic.
