I am taking the Cascades Amtrak from Vancouver BC Monday May 20 at 6:40am, to arrive in Portland at 3pm. I am sprinting on the train and then joining the code sprint in person.

My plan is to return from Portland direct to Montréal May 27.

While in the United States you can contact me by SMS at my 604 phone number or on twitter (which sends an SMS, but I am not sure if I can reply if I have no Internet).

Hey everyone,

Is a Montréal BOF ("birds of a feather") session a good idea for a meetup in Portland? I hear that BOF scheduling is done on-site as opposed to online this year.

Maybe if we do it as a BOF we can attract some devs that want to work in Montréal and get people who lived in Montréal before to come out? I think it will be hard to coordinate anything after hours!

I'm arriving in Portland in a few minutes! The train is just crossing over from Vancouver WA.

I'd love to meetup for drinks and stuff but I'll be prioritising meeting non-Montrealers during the actual con (when I'm not working) since that is why I'd attend them in the first place (even though it isn't how/why I ended up here this time).

The question for me is how do we coordinate? Here, in IRC, a G+ circle, or what?
