Screencasts don't render on OpenPublish site

We encourage users to post events happening in the community to the community events group on https://www.drupal.org.

I have tried several time to run the screencasts on the Openpublish site.

The JWplayer is tooo slow. I've given up three times now.

Note * all the time I have been over here writing this the JSPlayer has been running to render the Overview.

It is still running, and I've come back from the site to make these two sentences.

Maybe you should youtube the screencasts and embed them. They would render then.

Also, flowplayer is pretty good for proprietary video playback.

Domineaux, there are two

Domineaux,

there are two videos in the screencast section. Which one are you having problem with?

To view the first one you need to have Quicktime installed on your machine, since the file format is .mov. We will try convert it to FLV.

You should not have any problem viewing the second one, since that's hosted on Vimeo and Vimeo should be just as compatible with various browsers as is YouTube.

You are correct the 2nd one

You are correct the 2nd one renders fine. It is the first one that is the problem.

I have QT enabled on my computer. The little circle thingy just runs and runs and the video never plays.

We will replace it with FLV

We will replace it with FLV soon and it won't be a problem, anymore. Second video is much more important, though, so you are not missing too much. First one just explains what OpenPublish is, second one actually shows how to make first steps with OP.

irakli I appreciate so much

I appreciate so much the Openpublish. Normallly, integrating all the modules and setting them up for content plus sites takes hours of work.

Having a consolidation such as this with all the pre-sets is a great contribution.

Thank you for your kind
