Hi!
I´m a webdesigner and digital marketer from a Media Group in Portugal. I´m currently managing 3 web-newspapers that I´ve developed using HTML and Flash.
A couple of days, I´ve discovererd this group and I´m amazed because is exactly what I´ve looking for.
I´ve to start a development plan from a new webmagazine (it will be the first portuguese magazine (print+web) of rewenable energies), and I´m very tempted to choose Drupal for being the CMS.
But, I´ve to say that I´m a little disapointed, because I was reading the posts from this group, and it´s very high-technicaland advanced. I have to say that I didn´t found any post dedicated to create a newspaper in Drupal from the beginning (something like, "Lets develop a newspaper from step 1")
I know that the majority of the members are experts in Drupal (with some experience), but for a newbie like me, the magic of this group finishes when I start to read and don´t understand nothing at all.
So my sugestion is that you could publish a tutorial like do-it-yourself for newbies (like me) start using Drupal as a newspaper CMS(who knows if the future of the tutorial will be like a CMS newspaper´s bible?)
I hope this post will make some fruits...
