Hello Usability group!

I'm happy to announce that the MiniMenus module is now available. This module has been in use on CivicSpace sites for some time, and I recently got permission to open source it and begin maintaining the module in my free time for the community.
It's been tweaked since last fall with feedback from CivicSpace users, and I've personally grown to depend on it.

So, what does this module actually do? It puts "login / register" links in the top right corner of webpages for anonymous users, and a personal "account menu" for registered users (currently this is done via a block and some CSS, I'm working on a more theme-friendly approach and would love advice). You can see the 4.7.x version in use right now on http://civicspacelabs.org
This is very similar to the approach used by Google, and keeps user-centric links close at hand. The module also integrates with masquerade if installed, to allow site administrators to switch between a user and admin view painlessly.

I'd love to hear your comments and opinions on MiniMenus, and its future!

Robin
