IRC connecting via browser
One more note, for those unfamiliar with IRC... In that link in my previous post, https://www.drupal.org/irc/setting-up -- there are instructions for how to connect to IRC in a normal web browser. You do not have to install any software to connect.
You may want to read that page for more information, but a quick guide:
- Go to http://webchat.freenode.net/
- Enter your drupal.org user name as your "nickname" (no spaces though!) and #drupal-docs as the "channel".
