Improved CCK for D6

KarenS who just organized a Drupal User Group, in Central IL, gave a presentation to it's founding members explaining a much improved CCK for the D6 release. CDMUG took notes and posted them to share with the Drupal community - check out our milestone 100th node post. ;-)

I have a question about the new version. Will it properly handle multi-field fields for Views? Presently, only the first column is handled, ignoring all others. I have posted an issue to the CCK queue in the past, but can't seem to find it now. I think originally, just as in the examples, the first column was expected to hold data and any other columns were supposed to hold settings or other info about the data. Does that make sense? Pretty much any CCK field that could be stored and/or represented by multiple field boxes or multiple drop down selectors could benefit from better Views handling in CCK. As an example, I maintain the cck_fullname module and presently cannot provide proper Views integration due to this limitation.

If I am wrong about this, I would love to get help writing the Views integration for cck_fullname and cck_address. Thanks.
