I recruited a 13-year old kid to claim a GHOP project. "Recruited" is an exaggeration, I just sent him a brief e-mail and he did the rest on his own. He was mentored by webchick who gave him great feedback.
He did a usability study and came up with a few interesting observations. He has posted issues on all of them.
The study that he did was on setting up a Drupal sight from scratch.
The one suggestion he made that I'm following closely was his recommendation that having "Drupal" be the default site name was confusing to his subjects. None of them actually edited it and changed it to the intended name of the their new site.
The issue he submitted is at: http://drupal.org/node/199400
Comment on this issue, especially if you agree with him :)
His report is at: http://ijailbreak.com/drupal.html

The GHOP page for the item is at: http://tinyurl.com/ytc8ha
How many homework assignments do kids get in which product of the homework actually changes something? Not many. This project is great. Thanks to webchick for taking such an active role in the Drupal end of the project.
