Ottawa

We encourage users to post events happening in the community to the community events group on https://www.drupal.org.

Welcome to the Drupal Ottawa User Group. We will use this group to develop the Drupal community in Ottawa, to plan local events (DrupalCamps, informal get-togethers, etc.) and to share success stories and planned / completed drupal implementations. Public servants (this is Ottawa after all) interested in deploying bilingual / Common Look & Feel compliant governmental web sites will find colleagues in this group facing the same challenges related to the introduction of drupal in the federal government.

Organizers for the Ottawa Drupal Group

Hello,

I have recently been asked, as administrator of the Ottawa Drupal Group, to add administrators. I will gladly do so, especially since I have moved to Montreal a few years ago and I am practically not involved anymore in the drupal community.

If you are interested in becoming an organizer for the Ottawa Drupal Group, could you please add a comment under this post:

  • briefly introducing yourself and your company / organization
  • stating why you are interested in becoming an organizer
  • describing what you offer to do an as organizer

DrupalYOW Meetup, Topics and Presenters

Hello fellow Drupalers,

I am looking for both topic ideas and potential presenters for the next Ottawa DrupalYOW meetup and was wondering if anyone here would be interested or has some thoughts on what we could do?

The other option is that we make this month much like an open panel discussion whereby attendees can have 10-15 minutes to maybe discuss something their working on, problems they're facing, questions they might have, things of that nature.

Let me know what you all think and lets keep this Drupal community initiative going!
