Twitter Module
someone mentioned using a twitter module a few weeks ago.
I was curious if you can control what it grabs as text when it automatically posts to twitter and if you can control what URL is linked to it.
Thanks.
Document Import API
Does anyone know how to get document import api working? The README file is not helpful and I can't find an answer to the errors I"m having, which is that it won't parse anything, even an image even though the parser for that is already there, in the module.
This is the error I get when I upload a file:
warning: move_uploaded_file(/-1 atrium.jpg) [function.move-uploaded-file]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /mnt/local/home/wimaxforum/beta-wimaxforum.org/modules/docapi/docapi.module on line 312.
Drupal 5 to 6 conversion; experience with deadwood
Hey folks,
I have a client who wanted me to tell him how long it would take to convert a custom module in his site from 5 to 6, should he decide that the time has come. I've been working in 6, but have only done modest conversion so far.
I ran deadwood on it (drupal.org/project/deadwood) and it gave a rather long listing of TODO items that it couldn't convert, but none of them look particularly onerous. It gives the impression that converting this rather long and complicated module might not be such a big deal.

I have a business owner I've done some work for in the past who needs a site done, and unfortunately, I'm not able to get to it right now. It's a site that would be pretty cool to do in Drupal. The business is an online retailer of mountain bikes and accessories, and he's building a new front end using Magento. The Magento setup will contain four different stores What he needs is a middle ware application where he can get product data from supplier web sites, and then choose which products to insert into which of the four stores.

I'm trying to embed a YouTube video into this page.
Using standard YouTube tags, I get blank spaces.
Any advice on how to make it work?
Thanks

Winter Coders' Social
http://calagator.org/events/1250456151
Last December, many of the local software developer User Groups banded together and had a party (instead of the regular meetings). It was known as the Winter Coders Social: http://www.flickr.com/photos/tags/pdxcoderssocial/?page=3
In August, we had a Summer Coder's Social as the outdoor and sunny successor!: http://www.flickr.com/photos/tags/pdxcoderssocial/
Now, we're having a second Winter Coders' Social. Good and geeky times will be had by all. Come join us.
Bring yourself, games if you have them, and a dish to share.

OpenSourcery is still the world's happiest Drupal Meetup host, but we've moved to some bigger digs. Our new office is located at 1636 NW Lovejoy (updated map is forthcoming on the DrupalPDX page), and all other contact information is the same.
The time will remain: second Wednesday of every month from 6pm until 8pm. We encourage the use of public transportation (we're on the streetcar line).
We look forward to seeing you all there. As always, the event is free and open to the public.

A few users' group meetings ago, some of us talked about doing community service projects as a users' group, helping a local non-profit get a drupal Web site in place. Since then, a project putting the Rose City Resource Guide has come to my attention. I wanted to bring it to the attention of the group in case others would like to get involved.
