Jag bygger en sajt där en sektion visar videos från olika medlemsorganisationer. Jag har en sida som listar alla medlemsorganisationer, där jag för varje medlem vill visa tumnagelbilden för den senaste videon från respektive organisation.

Here are some (hopefully helpful) notes from the Introduction to Views meeting. I've tried to cover some of the basic points from my presentation here for your convenience. Please feel free to continue the discussion below. I always prefer to answer questions about troubles you may run into on these public forums with the hope that it will help others learn.

Hi everyone, noob here.

The problem is, I need to filter content by comparing two fields. There are two custom fields: 'Content: Unit' (specified when content page is created) and 'Profile: Unit: Unit No.' (specified by user in his profile). So I want to show users content that is only relevant to their 'unit'.

As far as I have learnt, it's impossible to implement this in Views UI, and I've already played with Arguments settings which gave me no result.

Any suggestions on how to do that?

"A" Kategorisi ve "A" Alt kategorim olmak üzere bir ana ve alt kategorim var. "B" adında bir içerik girmekteyim. "B" içeriği girerken "A" ana ve "A" alt kategorilerini etiketliyorum.
bu durumda taxonomy term views aktifken A kategorisine girildiğinde olması gerektiği gibi "B" içeriğim görünüyor. "A" alt kategorisine girince de yine olması gerektiği gibi görünüyor. Buraya kadar güzel ama "B" içeriğim "A" ana kategorisine girildiğinde değil sadece onun alt kategorisine girildiğinde görünmesini istiyorum.

jag vet att man via $views->build_info['query'] kan hitta/sätta den sql som skapas för default vyn men låt säga man vill ändra den sql som skapas för något av de block/page/feed som man skapar, hur hittar man den build_infon?

I am having some trouble getting a Views 2 argument to return what I want.

I working with Drupal 6.19 and all modules are up-to-date.

I am using the content_profile module to make a profile node for each user (public_profiles). And each user can create various types of nodes, one of which is called a Location.

I setup a block view to return nodes that are Locations, and I am trying to make that block view appear on the users public_profile node...

PLEASE HELP: When calling a complex recordset from Flex or in the Service Browser of drupal I always get the foreign key of the related objects - but not the object data itself. In many cases that makes sense (lazy loading etc.). But for simple data exchange it might be easier to simply get a complex generic object with arrays that holds ALL the data, so my Flex client doesn't need to know about the actual data structure. HOW? (see screenshots)

I have been using rules-views integration. and have set up 3 different views where each view uses 'rules executor' to set some flags on my site.

Each of these 3 views works fine on its own.

But I need to schedule these three steps to run sequentially, once per day, but I'm not sure how to do that.

I need something that will run each view, one after the other, and do this every night at 2am.

Any ideas?
