views

I am designing a webpage where I have created cck fields and one is by date. I have exposed the date field so people can search by date, but it seems not to be working. Why is that? What do I have to do to make it work?

Hi folks, I'm sure this is a newbie question with probably a simple answer, but I haven't been able to figure it out.

What I want to do is have a Panel display all of the nodes tagged with a particular taxonomy term OR its children. In the panel, I have a context which is the parent term. The view has a Taxonomy: Term ID with depth argument. In the panel it's converted to the Taxonomy: Term ID context.

Quick question: Does OpenLayers play nice with Views Arguments.

Anyone got a technique to share?

Tengo un pequeño problema con el módulo views, así que os lo voy a comentar por si alguno puede aconsejarme para solucionarlo.

Me he creado una vista para realizar búsquedas avanzadas por determinados campos. A la hora de mostrar el resultado de la tabla lo he configurado en views de forma que muestre el teaser del tipo de contenido sobre el que realizo la búsqueda y todo eso me funciona de 10.

I have a community driven site that's been running for several years (started with D4.7). I use Views to display data using the default "teaser" display in lieu of fields... Since my users have been creating lots of html content with embedded imagery (haven't implemented imagecache yet) the page displays are all over the place. It's gotten to the point where it reminds me of myspace - lol - because there's no enforced order to how imagery is displayed. Some node teasers have small images, some have large images and some don't have any images...

För fritidset vi håller på och gör en sida åt ska det finnas en lista som håller ordning på städschemat över lokalen. För att de inte ska kunna strula till det valde vi att göra en ny innehållstyp som heter Städvecka. Titelfältet får innehålla namnet på personen som ska städa och sedan lades det till ett heltalsfält med tillåtna värden 1-53. Än så länge inga problem... information gick att lägga till och så...

Men när det var dags att göra en View så börjar det strula. Jag gjorde en Block-view där jag valde följande:
Fält:
Innehåll: week
Nod: Titel

Filter:
Nod:Typ = Städvecka

I read that http://www.whitehouse.gov/ uses drupal, i have attached a print screen image of the site below, can anyone tell how it was done?

Sliter mitt hår och förstår inte varför Views slänger ut dubbla veckor för mig. Datumtypen Vecka är W (enligt php.net) för att visa vecka baserad på ett datum. Views plockar ett datum och gör om det till vilken vecka det är, men hos mig skriver den ut veckonumret två gånger.

I've been using a Drupal site for a while now but just started playing around with views. It became clear that I would need taxonomy terms to catagorize my content correctly.

So though my site has probably a month's worth of content on it, today I created taxonomy vocabulary and terms. Volia! Everythings great... All NEW content gives the option to add the taxonomy tags. Problem is... all the OLD content, the previous books that I had created are not allowing me to link them to the taxonomy terms from the "Edit" page.

Vi har en önskan från en kund: Rada upp lite kalenderhändelser (enkelt), och visa alla som kommer att hända samt visa de 5 senaste (alltså de som har hänt), fast de ska vara gråmarkerade.

Våran lösning: Två olika views som kollar datumet och listar dem med olika CSS-klasser.

Finns det dock ett annat sätt? Och i så fall hur skulle man göra det?
