Views có thể filter loại nội dung cho từng user được ko?

When wanting an anonymous user to define search paramaters, is views exposed filters the answer? Is there a module that works with views to handle this task?

I'm new to views. I figured out how to make a views page using 2 wildcards. I'd like to enable my users to drill down from there depending on the first letter of the last name. I have this working if I type in the URL by hand, but I want to add a nav bar to the top of the page like so:

I am hoping someone can help me with the logic/approach part of this problem:

I have a superset table of term data, so that if a user selects "Dance" i want to run a query and get all nodes with a term of "Dance" or "Polka" or "Tango" etc.

I have two node types - A and B. B has a nodereference to A, thus one A (parent) has many B children:
A1
|-B11
|-B12
|-B13
...

A2
|-B21
|-B22
|-B23
...

I need a view that displays a row per A-node along with one of A's children (the first, a random, etc.). Example:

A1 B11

A2 B21

A3 B31

I saw a podcast showing how to do the reverse: for each child, use the Views relationships to show the parent's title for example. That's clear but I need it top-down: for each parent show one child. How can I do this with views?

to explain my problem will take some time, so be patient ;)

i have a taxonomy and it´s about fish ---> genus, species, subspecies, population.
on one site i want people to search after fishkeepers, so i made exposed filters where you can enter one or all of the terms (genus, species, subspecies, population).
if you view the site (without searching) then you get the exposed filters and below all fishkeepers. the problem is, if someone has 2 fish, then he is listed 2 times ... 10 fish - his name is 10x in the list

Sometimes Drupal just makes me sit back and say "wow!" I had one of those moments yesterday when I set about tweaking the theming for the sessions page. I wanted to make it clear which language was going to be spoken in each session. My goal was to change the background color depending on whether the session is in English or German. I have access to the Drupal administration section, but I don't have direct server access. This makes it hard to write CSS for the page.

Hello, First my deep gratitude for this nice useful module.
I was wander about some issues[I am also using nodevote module, an voteAPI]:
1. Is there a way to add the point's on a user node to his own points "bank"? I will be happy if someone did it and can explain me how to.
2. Regarding all the userpoints tables. Are this views? cuase I can't find them in the views. If not, How can I manage them differently? For example, The operation section show me "insert" for all of the earning points types, and I would it to actully show the name of the... article, post, comment, etc.

I am trying to solve the following problem and am wondering if I overlooked anything:

I am working on a listings directory. I'm creating a content type with CCK and want to use taxonomy to organize the different categories. The structure would be something akin to:

Directory Vocabulary
-- Business Category 1
---- Subterm 1
------ Sub-sub term 1
------ Sub-sub term 2
------ Sub-sub term 3
---- Subterm 2
------ Subterm 3
-- Business Category 2
-- Business Category 3
...

Jag har skapat två views (visas i block) för att visa utdrag (teasers) ur de senaste två blogginläggen, problemet är det är titlen som blir länk till inlägget, men jag vill ha en "mer-länk" i stället det blir mer klart för besökaren att det finns mer att läsa på så sätt. Hur löser jag detta?
