Accepting payments with COD?
What's the best way to go about accepting payments for event registration with COD?
I've put together a few sites selling digital goods in the past, but they all utilized an off-site, 3rd-party checkout process, and Ubercart is new to me.
Ubercart seems designed to do transactions on-site, meaning you enter your credit card details into a Drupal-powered form before they're sent to the payment gateway for processing. This seems problematic in that you'd need to set up a secure server, worry about PCI compliance, etc.

He estado buscando hace varios días una plataforma de pagos online en Colombia (tarjetas débito y crédito) que esté integrada con Ubercart. Si alguien conoce alguna le agradecería que me comentara.
Sin embargo, ante la imposibilidad de encontrar un módulo que lo implemente, he pensado en desarrollarlo yo mismo, pero ni siquiera sé con quién debo hablar o qué empresas me podrían ofrecer un API para hacer la conexión.
Cualquier ayuda que ustedes puedan darme, por irrelevante que parezca, será bienvenida.

Let's get Google Checkout to work with Drupal to allow membership subscriptions-based, recurring credit card charge
Not too long ago, Google announced FREE processing of your Google Checkout sales until the end of 2007. That's right - more than a year's worth of free processing!
From now through December 31, 2007, you can process Checkout transactions for free, even if you aren't an AdWords advertiser. If you're already an AdWords advertiser, you can process your Checkout transactions for free regardless of your AdWords spend.
This potentially affects folks who use Drupal's ecommerce and advertising modules. Wouldn't you like to use Google Checkout (GC) for your Drupal web site(s)? Before that's possible, we need someone to create a module. Unfortunately, GC currently works ONLY in the United States. Regardless, I'd like to see a developer step up and write a membership subscriptions-based, recurring credit card charges capable module and I'd be willing to make a small financial contribution.
