Drutopia is a free/libre open source software project and platform cooperative for grassroots organizations— an alternative to SquareSpace and NationBuilder.

The Drutopia leadership team will give a "State of Drutopia" presentation on where the project is now and where it's going.

July is a month to celebrate Drupal! Why? - do we need a reason?
While the regular monthly meetup is resuming in August, we felt that July needed a good reason to get together and talk Drupal code and config.

There is a mission to build a Drupal as a Service full featured distribution of Drupal for organizing and campaigns. There is NationBuilder and other proprietary tools that are available, but why not a Drupal solution?

Any ADVANCED USER that VIEWS the Drupal community, can see in a HEARTBEAT that it RULES and can truly form ORGANIC GROUPS, prevent CHAOS, TOOLS of the SYSTEM and any other ENTITY from using a STRONGARM to build more BOXES, to achieve TOTAL CONTROL...
