fusion starter theme main menu

using drupal 7.12 on fedora core ver 15 with apache 2.2. I am having trouble figuring out how to modify the font type, size and background color of the horizontal header main menu using the fusion starter theme. I have been trying to make the changes at ~/sites/all/themes/fusion/fusion_starter/css/local.css.

In just trying to determine if the code will be reponsive I have

.fusion-inline-menu .inner ul.menu li a {
background: #004f90;
border-right-style: solid;
border-right-width: 1px;
display: inline;
margin: 0;
padding: 0;
white-space: nowrap;
}

What is the status of Skinr for Drupal 7?

We've all heard great things about Fusion and Skinr. I've been visiting the project pages every few weeks for almost a year now eagerly waiting for a Drupal 7.x release.

http://fusiondrupalthemes.com/faq#t61n150 said we could expect Fusion and Skinr to be ready for Drupal 7 in December 2010. However http://drupal.org/project/skinr says that Skinr 7.x "is not stable, functional, or supported right now... so we strongly advise that it only be used for testing purposes at this point."

It appears that no changes have been made since July.

Which Starter theme to use?

Hi Everyone,
I am trying to build a theme from a base theme. I am currently using Zen as my base theme. I just came across Fusion and would like to hear from your experience, on flexibility, of both Zen and Fusion.

Get a Skinr 2 / Fusion theme sandbox

Hey all, I set up a demo site for a session we did at Drupalcon SF and thought it would be handy to make available to everyone to play with. If you want to check out the latest Skinr 2.x with a bunch of skins included, without having to install or code or configure anything, you can sign up for a free WebEnabled account and clone your own copy of the site. The theme will also be up on drupal.org shortly.

Grab it here: http://www.webenabled.com/application/tnt-fusion

Could we borrow your site with RTL content for theme development?

Hi all! I'm one of the developers of the base theme Fusion. We've built in RTL support to the theme but want to test it much more thoroughly before the final 1.0 release. But it's quite challenging to build and set up full, realistic RTL content when it's not our language :)

Adding a Newsticker to Acquia Marina

I'm a big fan of Acquia Marina, and recently adapted it for a customer's new site and branding. See:

http://www.reachinsurance.co.uk/

I used the Newsticker module to add a scrolling jQuery slogan in the preface section. This was really easy to implement and to theme. If anyone else fancies a go, it's as easy as enabling the module, adding the newsticker block to the preface-first region and pasting the following into your local.css
