Working group

Well Magento Commerce is now very well known as being one of the best Open Source eCommerce solution. While we (at Adyax - http://www.adyax.com) were playing since a while with it, we noticed that Magento leaks of CMS Features. I wish share here our experience, and invite you to post here any of your ideas / code snippets or anything else offering better integration of Magento & Drupal.

This group seeks to act as a platform for discussion, collaboration, and planning in regards to Ajax.module and the objectives it seeks to achieve. If you have any usage questions, troubleshooting questions, or general help questions, feel free to post them here.

You may also post any suggestions for future improvements that you would like to see in Ajax.module.

This group is open to anyone to join and participate, so do not hesitate to post.

A popular KnowledgeTree / Drupal integration module project has been around for some time and we (the KnowledgeTree team) thought it might be useful to create a KnowledgeTree integration group to:

• Discuss potential points of integration, and to map a roadmap
• Provide a central rallying point for developers who are interested in building out the above roadmap

(kudos to IDEIA and Alex Pott for the above module)

Alfresco and Drupal have lived side by side for a fair amount of time, but we are now seeing traction around bringing the community together in a way that promotes integration and collaboration between these two amazing platforms.

The purpose of this group is to:
- Discuss possible ways to tie the two together
- Create a roadmap for developers to map out the integration effort
- A working group for developers who are implementing the above.

The following project initiative picks up on the fine work started with the Dojo 2.0 redesign. Aside from building a valuable site and profile, we will generate a wide range of learning materials and curriculum. We decided it would be best to create a separate group based on these factors:

• The primary focus of the Dojo should be on facilitating learning and mentoring
• While one use case of this site/profile 'could' be the new Drupal Dojo, it will be freely available to all

Discussion security best practices in general. This is NOT a place to discuss vulnerabilities in released versions of specific public modules nor Drupal core. Please only ask questions before releasing a module or phrase them generally. If you find a security vulnerability in publicly available code the proper thing to do is report it to the Security Team.

This groups discusses charts implementations in Drupal as well as information visualization examples. The holy grail for a long time has been CCK and Views integration. And now that it's here, as you can see below, many more modules with visualizations will probably soon follow.

Discuss Patterns, work on new Patterns together, suggest ideas and improvements and get help with questions.

What are Patterns? What is the Patterns module?
The patterns module enables the setup, configuration, and reconfiguration of [Drupal] sites without actually doing any of the setup manually. A pattern will be a collection of rules, definitions, and dependencies, currently in XML, YAML & PHP formats, that will automatically setup and create simple or complex features for you. Patterns can be saved and shared easily.

Improving usability is a top priority for Drupal 7. We are all discussing and working on that in the usability group. That's over there.

Over here, a smaller team of experts would like to document the bigger picture with:

• Updates on UX work in progess, in context.
• Guidelines that will help us improve the Drupal user experience as a whole.
• Working group for Usability testing projects.
