Working group

This group reflects a desire to support co-ops in Drupal.

Drupal is increasingly being used by co-operative organizations. While initially many co-ops have started working with Drupal in isolation, it has become apparent that we share similar needs, and that there is great potential to demonstrate the 6th principle: Co-operation among co-operatives.

Potential objectives for this group:

• A base install (w/documentation) for co-ops to manage members, assets, duties, etc
• Development or sponsorship of modules specifically aimed at co-operative needs

This group will be used to better the integration of Drupal and Ubercart to SAP Business One.

We will post knowledge base articles, help, How Tos, and more here. Also, we'll keep everyone on top of events happening that impact users of Drupal and SAP Business One.

SAP Business One is a leading business management software suite for small and midsize companies.

Our goal, to discuss how Drupal can be used to scientists run their laboratories, to build software for their unique applications dealing with Biological, Genetics and Computational properties, and to help people connect with scientists for better support for the large amounts of genetic data.

This group will also provide a forum for developers to share code, ideas and to work together to address common problems that arise when dealing with bioinformatics, biodiversity, and related data.

The mission of this group is to design, specify, and develop all necessary code to integrate Drupal with netFORUM. This is intended to be a base, yet thorough integration with minor customization (primarily theme) for individual netFORUM customers.

Both the customers (funding the development) and the developers are to be a SOON - Self Organizing On-demand Network in co-opetition. Cooperating on the development, then competing for individual implementations.

Are you a Lighty fan in an Apache world? It turns out the Lighttpd web server is a great platform for running Drupal too. This group is for discussion of using Drupal in conjunction with Lighty and vice versa.

Please use this group to discuss the implications Googles new product, Wave, will have on drupal.

Drupal Open Learning is a project-based learning program that provides training in a wide range of areas ranging from site planning, drafting proposals, project management, information architecture, development, design, infrastructure, to Drupal workflows and community. It does this by pairing apprentices with a mentor or mentors, thus gaining exposure to real-world scenarios and connections with the local and global community.
