All of us users of Drupal could use some new features or improvements, and most developers could use resources to do more work on Drupal contributed modules, core, and other projects. (This group also serves for discussion about how to make connecting finances to needs easier, particularly for aggregating small donors.) Read more.

The steady decline of membership in community organizations has slowed in the last few years as a new wave of younger people gets involved. In many cases, however, these organizations are still lagging behind when it comes to communicating via the web; older members may not immediately recognize the value of a web site as a powerful recruiting and communication tool. Even if they do, they may not be fortunate enough to have a member who is willing and able to undertake the building and upkeep of a web site.

This group serves as a central point to allow for the coordination and informal discussions amongst the developers of several modules (patterns, spaces/context, features, deployment, install profiles, etc.) that have similar and/or complementary functionality, allowing us to reduce the duplicated code bases and more easy leverage each other's solutions.

Welcome to the Interaction Designers' Network group.

The Interaction Design Association (IxDA) is an international, open and vibrant community of more than 10,000 members discussing interaction design issues.

This group is open to everyone who is interested in collaborating on the future Drupal-based Interaction Designers' networking platform.

As state governments and federal agencies turn to Drupal as a content backbone, this working group is to discuss best practices, collaborative development and shared resources.

Particularly beneficial would be information on technical requirements for federal government applications including credential management, security, and permissions, and if there are gaps in current Drupal modules to address common technical requirements.

Activity within Drupal has seen some duplicate efforts over the years and we need to consolidate to bring about the ultimate solution. DiSo and other resources are available for coming up with general theory and specifications. Activity module has been mentioned as a core feature candidate as well as a sought after feature on drupal.org itself. Let's coordinate and share.

FileMaker Pro continues to be a valuable tool for many organizations, providing a rapid development platform which allows people to easily manage their data. The same could be said of Drupal, and it's not surprising that a lot of people using FileMaker are turning to Drupal when thinking about getting data into or out of FileMaker on the web.

The purpose of this group is to discuss strategies and techniques for pulling Drupal data into FileMaker, and pushing FileMaker data into Drupal.

This group will explore integrations of Drupal, web systems and physical computing. Applications include dedicated display panels for Drupal notifications, home automation integration, OpenSoundControl and music applications, and anything else you can dream up!
