Working group

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

Contributed Module Ideas

The place to announce and brainstorm for new module development.

When a developer has an idea for a module, they are often not the only one with that idea.

By announcing module ideas here, this group aims to:

  • Reduce module duplication. We can prevent two independent developers from writing separate, duplicate modules.
  • Increase developer collaboration. We can get interested developers working together at an early stage of development.
  • Improve module quality. Others can shape and improve the ideas, leading to a better module from the beginning (or, at the least, a better road map for future development.)

You can use this group to get help with configuration issues or to compare notes on possible bugs. Patches are always welcome :)

Optimizing Themes & Modules for iPhone use.

Discussion area exploring themes and standards optimized for Drupal use with Apple iPhones

Seems like it should be relatively simple to brew up an iPhone Drupal module to turn any given custom Drupal node into an iPhone App, this would have an amazing effect on the recognition of and distribution of Drupal itself, given that Apple figures to sell something like 10 million units the first year, and many of those people would be ripe to find a way to develop their own iPhone apps.
