Last chance for workflow support in D7 Core

While the more expansive workflow features that were proposed did not make it in time for code freeze, we still have an opportunity during the current "code slush" period to make a few key alterations to the underlying Drupal database. This will enable further development in Contrib of comprehensive workflow and content moderation modules, with an eye towards D8. However, time is running out. After October 15, all hope is lost.

The upcoming Drupal 7 update brings with it a great opportunity to provide better support in Core for advanced workflows with content moderation, but the code freeze is fast approaching and this opportunity may pass us by. I encourage all developers to check out Support Revisions in Different States in the Drupal issue queue and lend a hand.

Social Networking Unified Access Library. A new and better approach?

I submitted this within the forums, but I don't think it will get the attention it desires... I think this is an important step in development in Drupals Social Networking... Take a look and see if it is something that will draw the attention and the enthusiasm that it deserves. If it is deemed usable, then I will start working on an API.

Drupal in the Enterprise

I'm not sure if anyone posted something about this. I'm sure someone would have seeing as it is from early October.

Info world did a comparison of CMS's from the Enterprise perspective.

Drupal was not a serious contender.

I do NOT think they got this entirely wrong. Drupal is certainly not a winner in this particular race.
