Is there anyone interested in a Drupal meetup in Bangkok?

I will be in Bangkok the following dates: 15-18 January or 20-22 January, and would like to meet anybody doing Drupal.

It would be interesting to meet fellow developers or company owners, as well as freelancers or newbies. I am both looking for potential subcontractors, and getting some details on the Thailand scene.

I am the chairman of the Norwegian Drupal Association, and is therefore interested in all things Drupal in general :)

I'm a web development trainer specialising in Drupal 7, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP and MySQL. I provide on-site training for individuals, businesses and corporations, as well as public workshops.

I am currently considering a move to Bangkok, so I'd really like to know whether there is much demand for learning these topics in Bangkok - and if teaching in English is realistic (I am hoping that many Thai web developers speak English).

Good morning!

My name is Alexander. I am a long-time software engineer living in Bangkok, Thailand. I am very new to Drupal and creating a Drupal based website for my business. I am looking for a Drupal developer for professional guidance and mentoring.

I am not looking for a syllabus and a course or watching someone do a hundred clicks across 30 screens. Nor am I looking to outsource my website which provides no skills enhancement.

End of last year a group here in Bangkok started the !space hackerspace project. The idea is to have a physical place to meet, learn and work on projects. That can be anything: hardware, software, knitting socs, whatever people want to do. usually it's related to technology. We have paying members, but the place is open to everyone at any time when members are around.

I'm going to be living in Thailand from October 1 for a few months and am keen to meet other Drupalers. Is this the best place to conect with Drupalers in Thailand? Is there a regular meetup time or place? Are members of this group in Bangkok or elsewhere? I'll be in Bangkok initially but probably won't stay there for long.

DrupalCamp is coming to Bangkok!

We will hold the first-ever DrupalCamp in Thailand on Saturday, May 24th, at the conference facilities of Inet, on the 13th floor of the Thai Summit Tower, Petchaburi Road, just east of the Ratchadaphisek / Asoke intersection.

We will also be running a full-day "Intro to Drupal" track that will cover everything from setting up a basic install to intermediate skills of customizing with modules, CCK and Views.
