Gnomepal Community Information and Discussion

The Gnomepal project is still brewing, and the communication tools are coming together - the hope is to build Gnomepal.org as a live sandbox for groups / communities, as what's the point of building a community tool if the community itself can't use it?

For collaboration or general discussion, I have these vehicles at my immediate disposal until we have everything assembled properly on Gnomepal.org itself:

  • IRC on irc.freenode.net in #drupal-gnomepal
  • Live Interoperability on a Ventrilo server (I must grant you access first)

Seattle PHP Study Group Forming, Meet Thurs April 3

A few people at last night's SeaDUG meeting expressed interest in a PHP Study Group that is evolving out of the Seattle PHP Group mailing list. We're not sure yet what level to start, area to focus - it depends on who shows up and expresses interest!

We (the PHP mailing-list folk) have agreed to meet an hour in advance of the regular Seattle PHP Meetup to decide when, where and what to study together. Please see this post for details.

Looking for other non-profit Drupal site devs

Hi folks. I've volunteered to implement a new website for a local non-profit [1] using Drupal and CiviCRM, including community forums, a custom event calendar, donations, fund raising support, etc. I'm looking to share experiences & advice with others using the same platform. Is there a group of Seattle-based non profit Drupal site developers already out there? Are there others doing similar work who are interested in brainstorming together, perhaps co-working, or sharing experiences online? Please drop me a line.

Seattle Dug, Sept 27th 2007 at Vivace near REI

Start:
2007-09-27 18:00 - 20:00 US/Pacific

Shawn, Robin and I will be fresh back from our DrupalCon Barcelona 2007 trip and will have plenty to report back.

Figure on an agenda that looks something like this:
Intros
DrupalCon Report back
Q/A

I'm not sure if we reserved the private room, so if anyone finds themselves over near REI, please go into Vivace and add us to the calendar. Be sure to post a note here so other's don't go out of their way.

See you all in a few days!
