Our next meeting will be held on May 27th 2008 at 7pm. This is a Tuesday as our regular time falls on the Memorial day holiday .

May’s Refresh Detroit meeting will be on the 21st, from 6:30 to 8:30 at the downtown Ann Arbor District library in Ann Arbor.  Map to the location .

When building a Drupal e-commerce site you have two (pure Drupal) choices:

Drupal 6.0 is free and in the wild. Let's load it!

I will do a live install of Drupal 6 along with a bunch of great contributed modules. Let's see how far we can push this new Drupal.
There are already over 120 contributed modules with atleast a development version for Drupal 6. Really!!

This will be a great event to bring someone new with you. It's time for you to spread the love that Drupal has paid to all of us over the last version. The wave is rising, let's ride!

Congratulations monan on the birth of your new baby!

So as i look forward to our next meeting (28Jan08) I wonder what we should talk about. This is your group, take control and suggest some agenda for our next meeting. Better yet, offer to lead us in something. Doesn't matter that you are new to Drupal and/or this group. I often use the approaching meeting as motivation to learn something new.

Just bark out suggestions as comments below.

Our next meeting will address the question, "Taxonomy - What is it and what can it do for me?"

I know our last meeting was just two nights ago. But it is clearly time for a discussion on taxonomy. Let's see if we can't get a discussion going before the meeting and set ourselves up to delve deep into taxonomy at our next meeting.

For simplicity sake, Ontology and Taxonomy are the same thing.

The next A2-Drupal meeting will be held on the 29Oct07 at 7pm. Let's have an informal Show-n-Tell. I'm looking for a few volunteers. I think 3-4 people would be do-able. Each person would do about 10-15 minutes. This will leave us with lots of time to let conversation wander. Please add a comment below if you are willing to participate. danromanchik? monan?

I really want to see a site that has solved the embeded video issues. Anyone? audiocollective?
