On form submit, focus should be shifted to the alert at the top of the page that identifies success or failure so that the screen readers will get it . How can I do this? thanks

I work on a multilingual website that will contain many languages that are not normally written, and I wonder if there are any ways to get this working for people using screen readers?

I am relatively new at Drupal and not a professional web developer.

Want to know if I can use something like Overlay or Lightbox2 to display the quiz questions & answer(s) in a pop up window. And after the quiz is over, it can either revert back to the results page (or maybe display the results too on the same pop up window).

The idea is possibly to have better control on how the questions & answers are laid out on this pop-up/Overlay window, so that it will be easier to access by people with physical challenges (who lack the fine motor skills needed to navigate and click small print)

have an user who has fine motor challenges and finds it very difficult to select answers & click on next. (at this point, the only user .. so don't mind making universal change)

Ideally would like to re-do the layout and the make the answers with radio button .. separate in to say four square (rather than being in a row).

As a work around, I have put font size tags to enlarge the question & answers (multiple choices).

For the Next click, I want to use something like an image , rather than the small next text. Using something like this below

Hi peeps - I'm looking for anyone who might stick their hand up and volunteer to help review the Drupal 7 version of Adaptivetheme - I really want this to be the most accessible version of the theme ever and I need some help and feedback from real users.

There are a couple of areas I need to hone in on:

1. Structure (sectioning and headings).
2. Custom theme settings forms.

At DrupalCon San Francisco 2010 we held an Accessibility BoF (Birds of a Feather) on Monday at 11:00AM in Room 262. I've included notes and links from our discussion. If you have any additions or corrections, please post a reply.

Hace un tiempo desarrollamos un theme simple para el wiki MoinMoin, con especial énfasis en la accesibilidad (referencias en http://moinmoin.wikiwikiweb.de/ThemeMarket/SimpleMente).

Es un theme de 1 columna, con fuente ordenada (contenido primero), semánticamente marcado, de ancho semi-fluido (el contenido se ajusta), etc. y está en uso en http://simplementewiki.org/.

Creo que ya está suficientemente estable como para que podamos (si hay algún interesado/a) migrarlo a Drupal. ¿Hay algún/os/as interesado/s/as? :-)
