WEB COMPONENTS, POLYMER AND DECOUPLING DESIGN IN DRUPAL
Wanted to reference this here in case people didn't see it. We've got https://drupal.org/project/webcomponents module able to go straight from polymer templates to display modes to field UI to rendered output. This completely by-passes the traditional tpl / template file workflow and allows front-end to dictate design to backend (instead of in Drupal where it's usually a mish-mash of both). It's also by-reference so updating your templates sees them updated in Drupal.

Hello all,
This group caught my attention. I thought I'd join in the conversation. :) I'm working on a "distribution" for personal use, because I have very similar clients. I recycle a lot of rules, content types, and permission settings. But there are settings that differ among clients.

Has anybody used Semantic UI for their Drupal site? I just came across this http://semantic-ui.com/ as a possible replacement for Twitter Bootstrap and wanted to see if anybody has any examples. I've been playing around with it some and will post mine when I'm done.

How about a discussion of design principles with adaptive/responsive in mind. Or just design principles and best practices in general.
Another thing I could use some help with is a hands on session on updating core and modules, particularly when core is SO out of date that updated modules won't play nice with it. I have an example site that is still on Drupal 7.6, and a straight update update has been problematic (especially the Date module). Maybe we could troubleshoot it, if people think they could learn from seeing that done.
