DrupalCamp

Luego del éxito que tuvo el Software Freedom Day Perú 2009 me quedé con la sensación de no haber disfrutado mucho el DrupalCamp Perú #1. Y creo que como ya tenemos varios temas armados podemos aprovechar para realizar una segunda edición, para no perder el "momentum" y alcanzar a más personas.

DrupalCamp Stockholm återkommer den 11-12 november. Höstens största drupalhändelse bjuder på:

• Två heldagar med föreläsningar, workshops och utbildning med talare från Sverige, Europa och USA.
• Chansen att träffa utvecklarna och projektledarna bakom flera framgångsrika tidningsprojekt på Drupal, bland andra The Economist.
• Flera fallstudier av projekt där Drupal har framgångsrikt använts.

The new Drupal Camp site has just launched, and is ready for registrations, sponsors and sessions.

The Camp dates are October 9-11.

Friday, October 9

• 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM: Gather, Meet and Greet, Social Hour I
• 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM: Session and Schedule Planning (last chance to submit a session!)
• 8:00 PM - ? Social Hour II

Saturday, October 10

• 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM: Arrive, Coffee, Set-up

The Central Florida edition of the Florida Drupal User's Group had another great meetup on Saturday at Mind Comet's offices in Altamonte Springs. Over 15 people attended (Andrew - you guys are going to need to get a bigger conference room table) and a variety of topics were discussed.

Visto el resultado de las encuestas y algunos comentarios, creo que podemos hacer una primera propuesta en cuanto a los dias de la drupalcamp: desde un viernes tarde hasta el domingo por la mañana, lo que nos permite dar tiempo a la gente que vive un poco alejada de Barcelona para que viaje durante la mañana del viernes y que vuelva durante la tarde del domingo. Eso nos permite también tener dos dias completos, repartidos en tres dias, de sesiones, networking, keynotes y lo que haga falta. Como lo veis? Lo aprobamos y pasamos a decidir el fins de semana concreto?

Orchestra wants to bring DrupalCamp to Portland, OR in 2010!

We're willing to sponsor and contribute however we can. If anyone has any suggestions, we're ready.

Orchestra is busy creating an integration to Drupal from SAP Business One, a small business ERP system used by over 20,000 companies worldwide. Like Drupal, SAP Business One is a core platform that is extensible and scalable and made better by the modules and Add-Ons from the community. We've always thought they'd be a good fit and now we have brought this idea to fruition.

Many are still recovering from the sold-out and jam-packed weekend that was DrupalCamp Dallas 2009. Over 100 developers, users, and business owners curious about the Drupal open source platform gathered in Dallas the first weekend of August for two days of Drupal!
